What is RPS?

The Reserve Political Society was founded on the principles of civics education and political engagement. It is working to provide opportunities for everyone to be informed about our government and the way it works, as well as bringing people together to engage in productive political discourse. The Reserve Political Society believes in the power of politics to better our world and the power of civics education and political engagement to help our democracy thrive. RPS’s publications are student written, meaning they reflect the ideas and opinions of students, not of Western Reserve Academy.

Who is RPS for?

The Reserve Political Society is for anyone and everyone - we the people, we the voters (or future voters) are the heart of RPS. No prior knowledge is necessary to take part, and we welcome everyone, liberal, conservative, libertarian, or unsure. Politics is a way to bring people together to create positive change and we know that your voice has so much to say and so much good to create.
